In October of 2016, a designer pal from here in Calgary, Cam Hoff, posted a list to twitter of some of the career goals he was aiming to achieve. His thread was a great read especially because he’d started to knock items off of that list.
It got me thinking about what goals I wanted to accomplish before my time’s up. Not just the career goals, but the life goals as well. One of the things that Cam had talked about was putting the list out there as a means of holding himself accountable—that if someone that follows him had seen the list, they would be able to call him out on it if he wasn’t following through.
In November of last year, I put my own list together, but just in private.
So here are my goals, in order to be held to account. Some of these are going to remain purposefully vague, as they’re just the nucleus of an idea, but should give you some idea as to what’s to come. Presented in no particular order.
Time to get to work.
